Transform the office environment with digital wallpaper

Surface Design Show 2012

Surface Design Show (7-9 February 2012) – At the Surface Design Show this year Signbox will be promoting Signbox EG, a new digital print division.

EG means "for example" and comes from the Latin expression exempli gratia. It is also an acronym for Environmental Graphics, an area which Signbox leads the way in digital print technology.

New industrial inkjet with fine art printing quality

Signbox have taken delivery of cutting edge print technology – manufactured by the Italian firm of Durst Phototechnik AG. This six figure investment paves the way for Signbox to produce signs and large format graphics at production levels in-house at our 1522 m² facility in Egham, Surrey and importantly will mean that we shall be highly competitive on price for a wide range of digitally printed media.

Best Sign Company Award 2010

We are very pleased to announce that Signbox has just won the top award at the UK sign industry's only recognised awards scheme – Sign & Digital UK.

The awards were presented at a gala ceremony on the 13th April at the National Motorcycle Museum with stiff competition from the UK’s leading sign making and visual communication companies having entered for one or more of eleven award categories – with Signbox winning the most prestigious award – 'Best Sign Company 2010'.

Recycling signage is green and saves money

Continuing to reinforce its position as a key supplier of signage to UK PLC, Signbox has recently provided Motorola with internal and external signage for its new head office premises at Kembrey Park in Swindon.

Motorola’s new premise, known as the Trilogy building, is a two-storey building of 80,000 sq ft – the equivalent of two football pitches.  Motorola are leasing the building from Highcross, who own the business park and have spent millions of pounds modernising it.

Care home signage that meets the special needs of residents

Signbox have recently completed the signage scheme for the new purpose-built Waypoints Verwood Care home in Dorset, developed by Archstone Lifestyle Homes. This included researching the special requirements for people with dementia, partial sight or blindness. Signbox’s approach reflects the latest developments in signs designed for the care home environment, including the use of innovative materials, images and graphics that recognise the special needs of disabled and mature residents – helping them to get around safely and with confidence
