Signbox have recently completed signage as part of a major refurbishment of the 160,000 sq. ft Ark office building in Hammersmith. Working closely with BW- Workplace Experts, the office fit out specialist took possession of the site in June 2022 with practical completion in March 2023.
The Ark building has nine floors in total and presented a challenge with two levels part occupied with tenants, throughout the refurbishment. The building had already been stripped back to the shell and core with the design and build programme focussing on the cores and providing new WCs throughout.
The new floors benefit from a CAT A fit-out providing high-quality office space and targeted BREEAM excellence, with a new reception and café space to enhance the building’s amenity offering. A new active commuter park, gym and changing facilities are added to the basement.
Signbox provided signage and wayfinding across the building including manifestation graphics, wayfinding tenant directories, stairwell level indicators and cycle store painted graphics. All completed with a high-end, sustainable finishes throughout.
