A New Home for Oliver Wyman
When Oliver Wyman moved into their newly refurbished offices at 55 Baker Street, London, they required bespoke signage and glass manifestations. As a leading international management consulting firm, their vision demanded an exceptional finish. They turned to Signbox to deliver the signage project to the highest standard.
Delivering the Vision
Signbox worked closely with DEGW Architects to develop the initial design concepts. The project called for 440 square metres of glass partitions to be covered in a fine manifestation design. The look involved 2mm thick lines, spaced just 1mm apart in privacy areas. The spacing would widen at the top and bottom of each glass panel.
Traditional etched vinyl was not suitable. The lines were too thin to be cut accurately by CAD and applied perfectly straight. It was vital the finished result looked flawless, matching the architects’ vision for the Oliver Wyman signage project.
Innovative Digital Glazing Solution
To overcome these challenges, Signbox proposed using an innovative solution: digital glazing. Digital glazing acts like transparent wallpaper for glass. It provides creative flexibility, quick installation, and enhanced safety features. This technique also eliminates the need for double-handling glass between factories and sites.
By using digital glazing, Signbox achieved a perfect finish. The fine printed lines looked as if they had been applied directly onto the glass. The density of the lines controlled the view through the partitions. Where the lines were tight, they provided privacy. Where they thinned, they offered clear, open views.

Completing the Oliver Wyman Signage Installation
To complete the project, Signbox installed wayfinding and door signs using the Modular Sign System. This ensured a consistent and professional look across the entire office space.
