Signbox collects two gongs at the 2017 British Sign Awards

We drove up to Leicester last Thursday for the 2017 BSGA British Sign Awards with our hopes high. Three of our 2017 projects had been shortlisted – one of them in two separate categories.

After an excellent lunch we were delighted to be able to head off back down the M1 with not one, but two new trophies to put in the cabinet back at HQ.

It has now been 4 years in a row that Signbox has won at least one award at the industry’s annual gala event, a remarkable run of success. This year we were particularly pleased with the categories in which we won the top awards.

First was the architectural signage award which we won for our work on the Dakota office building project in Weybridge, Surrey. Architectural signage is often not fully appreciated or even understood and it is an area in which Signbox has developed an extremely high level of expertise over the past three decades. It was wonderful to see that knowledge, built up over many years, rewarded on the day for this stunning project.

Our second award came in Décor category – another area in which Signbox excels, designing and manufacturing digitally printed wall coverings and graphic manifestations. In this instance, it was our work for the London office of Greece’s Alpha Bank that caught the judges’ eye.

Whether it’s exterior architectural signage to deliver the wow-factor on approach, or visually stunning graphics to engage and inspire from within – Signbox understands that no two clients and no two jobs are the same. We don’t just make signs – we design and develop them to work seamlessly with the building and with the company brand, working closely with architects, designers, and contractors every step of the way.

We’ve given ourselves a tough act to follow next year, but – with some of the exciting projects we have in the pipeline – we’re going to give ourselves every chance of extending our awards run for yet another year.
