Contemporary brushed steel is used to create eye-catching signage for 25,000sq m of designer retail shops within the capital's latest iconic landmark, Westfield London.

Westfield London is being dubbed the future of retailing. The Village, created by leading US architects Michael Gabellini and Kimberly Sheppard, can only be described as sumptuous with its shimmering chandeliers, inset stone flooring and arresting signage. The eight metre high glass shopfronts appear to float over the floor creating a luminescent pleated effect.

To complement the glass fronted shops, Signbox were asked to create 1.5mm brushed steel laser cut lettering bespoke to each designer brand which could be bonded onto hanging glass panels or directly onto the glass shop front.

The effect of the contemporary brushed stainless steel lettering against a glass background created a stylish finish to the shop fronts which blended in with The Village's exclusive and plush environment.

Signbox were praised for accurate interpretation of the brief and for providing a high level of service during the installation to ensure the job was completed on time.
