We document everything, from photographs and videos to sketches of the site and we conduct experiments to show if signs are recognised and how people react to them. An intelligent signage system will be functional and stylish, but it’ll be discreet and work with the environment too.

When our concept has taken shape, it’s time to look at the physical design of the signage system. Signbox manufactures signs in a wide range of materials, including various woods, metals, contemporary vinyls and composites and glass. Wherever possible, we work with products that are environmentally-friendly and originate from recycled or sustainable sources, and always with durability and low maintenance in mind.

Once the materials have been selected, we consider the sign content. Signs can include graphics, logos, icons, images and text and all will need to be reproduced in a style that reflects and enhances the client’s brand identity or message. Typography and graphical elements must remain consistent and legible.

The project management team at Signbox works closely with clients and consultants, presenting ideas, visuals and prototypes, taking feedback and refining the vision for the signage system before the process moves to the manufacturing stage.
